The territory is part of the Territorio Xenia, recognised by UNESCO for its exceptional concentration of millennial olive trees. The comarca combines Mediterranean coastline with mountainous interior, at altitudes between sea level and 700 m. Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters.
